Professor Kevin Kellems has been in the martial arts for over 25 years. Prof. is one of the highest ranking teachers in Michigan. Besides holding a Black Belt in BJJ, Professor also holds a black Belt in UechiRyu KarateDo and has studied Aikido, Judo & Russian Sambo as well. Professor has been in Law Enforcement for over 15 years and has trained Numerous officers from multiple police agencies along with corrections and probation officers.

Coach Ray White has began his martial arts training in Moo Duk Kwan Tang Soo Do as a young man. In 1998 he began training in Filipino Martial Arts, Muay Thai and Jeet Kune Do at the esteemed Minnesota Kali Group. After studying and teaching at the MKG for more than 10 years, he coached the very successful MnSU / Mankato MMA team at Minnesota State University for 5 years. Since relocated back to his home state of Michigan Coach Ray has been teaching, coaching and training students and athletes in a true Mixed Martial Arts curriculum for fun, fitness and competition.

Sensei Tim Boucher was first introduced to martial arts (judo) in 1974, while wrestling at Maple Valley High Schools, Vermontville Michigan, by my high school wrestling Coach Dan Watson. He started martial arts training in 1979 and have thoroughly enjoyed it for the past 29 years. Throughout those years, he has studied many different types of martial arts including: Judo, Hakkoryu Jujitsu, Kendo, Karate, Doces Pares – eskrima, Eskrido, Seidokan Aikido, HAMA Ryu Jiu jitsu, Muay Thai, and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
Currently coach Tim Boucher is a 3rd degree judo black belt teaching judo at The Mushin Academy of Martial Arts.
